When it comes to hydraulic erosion protection needs, such as channel side slopes, pipe inlets and outlets, and shorelines, professionals depend on Shoreflex. This concrete block mat has a high-strength geogrid that encapsulates a matrix of 5,000 psi concrete blocks (6.5”x 6.5”x 2.5”). The concrete blocks are spaced 1.5” apart and are attached to an erosion control blanket or high-performance turf reinforcement mat. Both standard concrete erosion control mat sizes and custom dimensions are available. All flexible hard armor solutions are shipped in large rolls for convenient transport and installation. Most often, contractors install Shoreflex using lightweight equipment.
